04 — AI Processing & Your Content
CogniMate's AI pipeline — built on Microsoft Azure, Anthropic Claude, and Google Veo — processes content you provide (niche preferences, brand guidelines, topic inputs) solely to generate your video deliverables. This content is processed under strict data processing agreements with each provider and is never used to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
Your generated content is yours. We assert no intellectual property rights over videos, scripts, or assets produced by your subscription pipeline.

05 — Data Sharing
We share your data with a limited set of sub-processors required to operate the platform: Microsoft Azure (infrastructure), Anthropic (Claude AI API), Google (Veo / Imagen API), and n8n (workflow automation). Each operates under a Data Processing Agreement with us.
We never sell, rent, or broker your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes. Full stop.

06 — Data Retention & Deletion
Waitlist data is retained until you request deletion or the platform reaches general availability, at which point it is migrated to your subscriber profile or permanently purged upon request. You may request deletion at any time by emailing legal@cognimateai.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
07 — Your Rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and applicable data protection law, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, object to processing, and request portability. To exercise any right, contact us at legal@cognimateai.com. We do not require account login to process these requests.
08 — Security
All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3 with AES-256-GCM encryption. Data at rest is encrypted on Microsoft Azure-managed storage. We apply the principle of least privilege internally — only team members with a specific operational need can access identifiable user data.
09 — Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify waitlist members by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
